Census information is actually 'door to door' and has been projected forward from the 2000 Census until July 2011 - at which time - CCIM began providing ACTUAL CURRENT Commercial Market Information FROM 2010 Census Numbers!

What does this mean?  Fort Gordon reports adding 6000 new employees since 2002.  Also, we have been Blessed to grow Medical Jobs and Jobs brought here by the good work of the Development Authority.  

What numbers will change?  2010 numbers will reflect the impact of the new jobs. We will see such information as Total Population – Median Age – Households – Average Household Size – Household Type – Age of Household – Families – Average Family Size – Housing Units – Occupancy Status – Tenure – Vacancy Status – Age of Householder - Citizenship – Ancestry – Place of Work – Means of Transportation – Travel Time to Work – Occupation – Industry – Household Income – Earnings – Poverty status – Year Structural Built and other information, and other Census numbers higher than the numbers projected forward. 

I am expecting to see Augusta Reports reflecting a healthier growth.

What does this mean in the Commercial Real Estate Market?  The old-school strategy was to look at population count, income, and age to determine a good location for a business. But new-school tools such as leakage factor, retail gap, and Tapestry lifestyle analyses take decision making to a higher level and reduce the risk of failure.
